Basketball Program
Special Thanks to all the awesome parents that supported the 1st Georgia Thoroughbreds Track and Field Club. The kids did a fantatsic job. Each child gained confidence and experience each week by competing in various field and running events. Track registration and training for 2012 begins in February . REGISTRATION:
Walk-up Registration will be held _ Fairington Park every Saturday in June from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.
The cost for registration is $175.00 for football and cheerleading. Payments can be made in intervals but full payments must be made by July 5th in order to participate with the team on first of practice.
LIST OF ITEMS NEEDED FOR FOOTBALL
Athletes participating in tackle football will need rubber football cleats, mouthpiece, 7 piece pad set, helmet, shoulder pads,
white facemask, black practice pants, and blue practice jersey.
LIST OF ITEMS NEEDED FOR CHEERLEADING:
Athletes participating in Cheerleading should consist of comfortable shorts and shirts. Hair longer than shoulder length should be pulled back. Athletic shoes must be worn. Practice Uniform must be worn to practice. Cheerleaders are also prohibited from wearing jewelry,makeup, and artificial fingernails to games or cheerleading competitions.
PRACTICES:
Regular Season practice begins on Tuesday July 5th 2011 from 6:30 - 8:30. Practice days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Check with coaches for additional or optional day changes.
Georgia Thoroughbreds Football and Cheer Picture Day will be held Sunday, September 18th 2011 Location: Fairington Field 4:00 - 6:00. All kids ae expected to participate for team and group pictures.
